About Me

When I worked at the Museum of Science and Industry, I was really impacted by their mission statement, “to inspire the inventive genius in everyone.” My personal goal is to inspire the learning and creative genius in my students. I also want to my classroom to be a space where the students feel safe and comfortable taking risks that lead to their individual growth.

I enjoy inspiring a life long love of learning in my students, by exploring different styles of learning and thinking. I believe in the creative genius of children, and that somewhere in my classroom are the leaders, dreamers, and doers of the future. I was raised in a family that valued education and teachers, and I can think of no more fulfilling work for my life.
